The Board

The Peppercorn Services Inc. Board of Management was established in 2001.  Peppercorn Services Inc is a not-for-profit community organisation.  It is also a registered charity.  The objectives of the organisation is to provide for the needs of the aged, younger people with a disability and vulnerable families from socio-economically disadvantaged and geographically isolated backgrounds.

The role of the Board is to control and manage the affairs of Peppercorn Services Inc.  Members of the Board are required to hold professional qualification or have experience in the social services sector and be either nominated by one of the identified organisations or be selected as a community representative or councillor.  Organisations currently represented on the board include: Anglicare, Forgotten Valley Project Consultative Committee, Hawkesbury District Health Centre; Hawkesbury Seniors Leisure and Learning Centre, Nova Employment Services, Right Connections Coalition, Sydney West Area Health Services and three staff representatives from Hawkesbury City Council.  Two community representatives are also members of the Board.  One Hawkesbury City Councillor (acting as a rapporteur only) attends Board meetings as well.

 Geoff Hatch 
Geoff is the Chairperson of the Board, and he  is a representative of the Hawkesbury Seniors Leisure & Learning Centre and is President of Hawkesbury U3A and the NSW Treasurer of the U3A Network.  Geoff has now retired from permanent work where he was employed by the Department of Transport in the Engineering/Audit and regulation section. 
Board Member 2Selina McArthur    
Selina has been a Board members since 2006. She is Branch Manager for Nova Employment, Richmond.  Nova is a disability network service provider, assisting young people with a disability to find open employment with Award wages.

board member 3 Margot 'Jo' Willaims
Jo is the  Forgotten Valley Project Consultative Committee representative on the Board.  Jo has been a Board Member since 2008.  Jo is retired and lives an active life in Wisemans Ferry.

Chris McGown-Noel
Chris McGown-Noel is the Sydney West Area  Health Service representative.   Chris is the Health Service Manager for Primary Care & Community Health Network.  This is Chris's first year on the Peppercorn Board.
Gary London   
Gary is a Community Representative on the Board.  This is Garys first year.  Gary has been on many Boards in his working life.

Janine is the Right Connections representative on the Board. Janine has been a Board member since 2007.  Janine has been working in the Family Services sector for more than 15 years.  Currently Janine is the Coordinator of Family Services with Hawkesbury Community Services.
 

Joseph Litwin
Joseph was instrumental in the set - up of Peppercorn Services Inc. He is the Executive Manager for Community Partnerships at Hawkesbury City Council and the Treasurer for Peppercorn Services Inc.  Joseph has been a Board member for 8 years.

Kaylene Kelland
Kaylene is the Service Manager - Child, Family & Youth Services and has been employed in Community Services at Hawkesbury City Council for over 15 years.  Kaylene  has been a Board member for 4 years.

Rosemary Chapman
Rosemary is the ANGLICARE representative on the Board.  Rosemary has been working in community care, supporting carers, as an occupational therapist and Service Manager for over 10 years.  Currently she is the Program Manager of Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre, Nepean.  This is Rosemary's first year on the Peppercorn Board.

Wayne Backhouse   
Wayne is a community representative on the Board.  Wayne has been a Board member since 2007.  Wayne is a retired Veterinary surgeon and plays a leadership role in the development of men's health services in the Hawkesbury.

Clr Tiffany Tree
Clr Tiffany Tree is the Rapporteur for Hawkesbury Council.
