Strategic Plan

In 2005 Peppercorn Services Inc. adopted its first Strategic Plan which mapped out a service expansion strategy which would see the organisation become a key provider of aged and disability services. Peppercorn identified its core mission as providing the community with the means to participate in community life through the provision of transport and social support programs.

In 2011 Peppercorn renewed its strategic plan to allow for the service expansion that had occurred over the previous 5 years. This new plan embedded the principles of innovation, partnerships and sustainability into the strategic direction, guiding Peppercorn through a period of growth and change. The Strategic Plan has built a unity of purpose for Peppercorn and ensures the organisations’ long term strength and sustainability.

Peppercorn’s strategic direction complements Hawkesbury City Council's Community Strategic Plan 2010 - 2030. Utilising the infrastructure and planning capability of local government, along with the flexibility and knowledge of the community sector, Peppercorn is well placed with a strong planning framework which guides it to meeting the changing needs of the Hawkesbury community.

The Strategic Plan includes a yearly Operational Plan, which details the performance outcomes to be achieved across the seven Peppercorn business branches.
