Peppercorn provides a range of community and youth development services to support vulnerable and isolated communities. Our programs work in partnership with community members and other services to offer a variety of innovative and creative programs to support and enrich young people and local neighbourhoods. Our programs are based in South Windsor and Wisemans Ferry. Peppercorn also provides programs to support young people to take up civic engagement opportunities and positively engage in their community.
Hawkesbury Community Hub An early intervention community development service for families with young children, funded by Families NSW, an initiative of the NSW Government. The Community Hub project works in partnership with three local schools, offering programs for families at Windsor South, Windsor Park Public School and St Matthews Catholic School. Supported playgroups, parenting programs and holiday activities are some of the activities offered by this program.

Forgotten Valley Community & Youth Development Project This service is available to the communities of Wisemans Ferry, Laughtendale, Lower Hawkesbury, Spencer, Gunderman, Lower, Central and Upper Macdonald, St. Albans, Webbs Creek, Leets Vale Lower Portland, Sackville, South Maroota, Maroota and Cattai. Programs are also offered to young people between the ages of 12 & 18 years. Funded by the Department of Community Services, these services are designed to strengthen the community and help people feel more connected and informed.

Hawkesbury Youth Transport Options Is a youth transport initiative that focuses on addressing transport needs of young people living in the Hawkesbury LGA by offering a range of services that increase young people’s opportunity to participate independently in community programs, social activities and education where public transport is limited or unavailable. Hawkesbury Youth Transport Options (HYTO) is a CTP funded program through Transport NSW. Our services include free cab vouchers and group bus hire.
