This is a subsidised lawn mowing service supported by funding from the Australian Government under the Home and Community Care (HACC) Program. The service aims to support frail aged persons and persons with a disability  to maintain their independence and enable them to remain living in their own homes.

Who is eligible for the service?       
This service is available to frail older people and younger people with a disability and their carers who do not have access to this type of basic home maintenance support. Peppercorn Easycare Lawn Mowing provides service to persons living in the Penrith, Hawkesbury and Blue Mountains LGAs.       

How it works?      
Peppercorn Easycare Lawn Mowing Service clients receive a subsidy each time their lawn is cut, up to 10 cuts per year. Service Clients are provided with a list of selected contractors in their area. Clients then contact the contractor directly who will visit the premises, assess lawn mowing needs and negotiate the cost per cut.  

Service Fees      
Service Clients need to contribute a minimum co-payment each time their lawn is cut, however the co-payment is dependent upon the size and condition of lawn to be mowed.
