A variety of user groups operate programs from the Hawkesbury Seniors Leisure and Learning Centre, providing persons over 50 with a wide range of recreational and educational activities.
Old Pansy Steam Train Restaurant Peppercorn Services Inc. operates the Restaurant on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Restaurant is supported by funding from the Australian Government under the Home and Community Care (HACC) Program. It is designed to provide social interaction and activities for socially and/or geographically isolated people living in the Hawkesbury. Transport is available to guests.
Seniors Activity Group Open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, this groups holds activities such as Indoor Bowls, Indoor Games (snooker, table tennis, cards), Social Outings, Calendar Event Celebrations
Hawkesbury Seniors Computer Group A member of the Australian Seniors Computer Club Association (ASCCA) this group assists members to learn how to use a computer in a friendly, fun atmosphere.

Staying Alive Seniors Gym Qualified instructors lead exercise and fitness classes that cater for all fitness levels. Classes include Heart Moves, Living Longer Living Stronger and Seated Exercise Classes.

The University of the 3rd Age (U3A) The U3A operate classes througout the Hawkesbury for those who have a desire to learn. Classes available at the Centre include Marquetry, Canasta, Mah Jongg, Tai Chi, Singing and Discussion Groups.
